I have a friend who just recently began eating meat once more. I am glad for him. I am not against vegetarianism, but I am against judgment. The above quote is from a Facebook comment. My now omnivorous friend detailed a recent meal. It involved Buffalo meat, one of my favorites. One of his friends posted the above.

See, the thing is, I am not going to stand in judgment against anything some one wants to eat, so long as it is not an endangered species. I have known people that would only eat live foods. Thats fine. I known people that would eat live foods but in large blcoks, that is, they would only eat certain foods at at time. If this person would eat fruit, he would only eat one fruit, but in large portions, then move on.

I have also heard of people who would abstain from certain types of food in certain climates. Or who would say they couldn’t eat one typ of food. I could go on, but my point is, why is there judgment against what I or others feel like eating? Don’t tell me you are more picky than I am, or that you have higher standards than me. I don not eat garbage.
